This brick-and-mortar program represents a return to the Odyssey campuses and the classroom where students will engage directly with their teacher(s) and classmates. The school day will follow the standard bell times and standard schedule that includes all the core classes and other subject areas. Our goal is to protect the health and safety of our students and staff while offering a return to normalcy to the greatest extent possible in the traditional school setting.

 

Enhanced Health, Safety and Wellness Routines

• Social distancing to the greatest extent possible

• Daily temperature checks

• Posted signage and training for appropriate hygiene and social distancing practices

• Hand sanitizer stations throughout the building

• Increased cleaning protocols for the building in particular high-touch areas.

• Provisioning of face coverings for all staff and students.

 

School Bus Safety​

• Masks are required while riding the bus.

• Assigned seats for all students.

• Sanitization of busses between runs.

At the elementary schools students will spend most of the school day interacting only with students in their class. By limiting the exposure to a small number of students, we reduce the chance of infection. If a student becomes ill, the immediate class is affected, not the enrtire school.

 

At the Jr./Sr., traffic patterns will be adjusted to discourage large gatherings of students in common areas. The number of students in the cafe and gym will be reduced. Extracurriular activites will resume based on CDC and state reccomendations.
